This bibliography lists published research on language teachers’ beliefs, knowledge, attitudes and related concepts and on how these concepts relate to teacher learning and what teachers do in the classroom. A good place to start if you are thinking of doing research in this field. Not included on the list but an essential update are the papers in Modern Language Journal 99/3, which take the study of language teacher cognition into its next iteration.
